Warning Signs I Need to Replace My Brakes

When your brake pads and rotors are worn down, they become thinner and the friction wears out not allowing them to be as effective. The heat from braking can even cause the rotors to warp and the brake pads to subsequently slip, creating a quivering sensation at high speeds in the pedals.

Other signs that indicate a need to replace your brakes include:

• Squealing, Squeaking, or Grinding Noises 
• Wobbling, Vibration, or Scraping When Braking
• Spongy or Soft Pedal Brakes that reach the floor
• Pulling of Your Car to One Side

We recommend replacing your brake pads at around 30,000 - 50,000 miles and every two years or 30,000 miles, a brake fluid flush. A routine inspection should be scheduled every 10,000-15,000 miles to ensure your safety, especially if you are consistently on the roads. 

Do I Need New Tires If My Car is Shaking?

A wheel alignment should be scheduled after every other oil change or approximately every 6,000 miles. A tire balance should be scheduled every two years or every 5,000 to 7,000 miles.
